even if you aren't planning a party,
you'll like to surprise your family
with a dessert for that special day.
So here's a new recipe for your
collection. It's a chiffon pie filling
> made with Dnnish Dessert, the cur-
rant-raspberry flavored pudding
mix.
This tangy raspberry flavor and
.delicate texteur make this luscious
chiffon pie a fitting climax to your
dinner and will rate "special" on
your dessert list.
RASPBERRY CHIFFON PIE
1 package froxen raspberries
I package Danish Dessert
.'I egg whites
1 3 baked pastry crust
Thaw berriet and dram well.
Measure juice and add enough
water to make 1 cup liquid. Stir in
contents of package Danish Des-
sert. Add raspberries. Hring to «
full boil: boil for 1 minute, stirring
constantly. Beat egg whites until
stiff, but not dry. Pour hot Danish
Dessert over egg whites, a little
at a time, beating continually. Pile
chiffon filling into partry crust.
Let cool. Chill 4 hours. Garnish
with whipped cream.
Woman's Club To
Present Helen Poe
At Monthly Event ~
Miss Kelen Poe, inspirational
speaker with a fascination for tra-
vel, will be guest speaker at the
Woman's Club monthly program,
February 25.
Her topic "European Journey"
will describe Europe and Africa
in relation to us as an average
American woman sees it traveling.
Miss Poe speaks in a manner of
naturalness, yet with enthusiasm,
portraying her interests which the
audience shares with her.
Miss Poe will be introduced by
Mrs. Ralph Hilgenberg, program
chairman for the day.
Reservations must be made by
Tuesday noon February 24 with
Mrs. C. M. Giles, 582 or Mis. Mon-
roe Veale, 77.
Bridge, sambu, canasta and for-
ty-two games will preceed the
luncheon followed by the program.
Gaines will begin at 10 o'clock.

The Hunt Circle of the First
Baptist Church met in the home
of Mrs. F. E. Shaw Monday at a
regular session.
The meeting was opened with

lowed by a business seuion and a
very interesting mission lesson.

shower Tuesday Hfternoon in the
home of Mrs. Henry White at the
regular meeting of the Past Mat-
ron's Club.

To Appear At Woman's Forum Feb. 23
Mrs. Herbert Emery of Dallas, fvre audu-nres in several states
prominent literary reviewer, will
present a program' at the Wo-
man's Forum, Monday evening,
February 23, at 7:341 o'clock.
Mrs. Emery will review a b<iok,
"A Hungry Man Dreams" by Mar-
vin I*ee Runbeck. This is an absor-
bing story, packed with a variety
of interest. According to Mrs.
Emery it has an appeal to men
who read it and a definite^harm
for the ladies.
Mrs. Emery has appeared in
Breckenridge several times within
the past years and was warmly
deceived by her audience last May
at the Woman's Forum when she
reviewed "Jefferson Selleck". A-

Opal Spiers was elected treasurer
to replace Mrs. Idti Sikes. Mrs,
