The workshops are part of the career planning'
and placement center’s Preparing for the ‘90s Job
Market program.

Humanities Fest! begins on NW Campus March 28-31 with the
following activities.
1) A student symposium on Multiculturalism by NW Campus faculty
will be Monday, March 28, at 10:10 a.m. in B-118E and B-118W.
2) A roundtable discussion with guest speakers from the community
will occur Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. in B-118E and B-118W.
Speakers will include John McCaa, a Channel 8 anchorman; Dr.
Jocelyn Chadwick-Joshua, UNT professor; and Dr. Judith Carrier, NW
Campus dean of instruction and student development.
3) A presentation by local author, Sonja Birmingham, will take place
Wednesday, March 30, in B-118E at 11 a.m. The presentation will focus
on publishing commercially.
4) A faculty workshop on Thinking Through Writing will be con-
ducted by Nancy Penny of Lord Fairfax Community College, Middletown,
Vir., Wednesday, March 30, at 2 p.m. in B-118.
5) A viewing of entries in a student video contest will be Wednesday,
March 30, at 5:30 p.m. in B-118E and B-118W.
6) An award ceremony for a Phi Theta Kappa-sponsored writ-
ing contest will be in B-118E and B-l 18W Thursday, March 31, at 9:30
a.m.
7) An open microphone reading of original poetry will occur in B-
118E and B-118W on Thursday,March 31, at 7:30 p.m.

sponsor its 15th annual Career and Job Fair today
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center.

Northeast Community Hospital and more than 40 NW Campus and the South Campus jazz bands. The
