Mountains. They found the
weather delightfully cool, the
grass green, and spreading their
lunches under an occasional pine
tree most pleasant.
We cannot remember that we
told you last week that the
Christian Church building, which
is not now in use, has been given
to the Baptist and Methodist
Churches to be divided between
them. “Mother Smith”, (Mrs.
John A. Smith), one of the char-
ter members, acted for the for-
mer jnsmbers of the congrega-
tion which worshipped there for
many years. We know it was a
sad occasion and yet the gene-
rosity of the givers must have
mellowed the feeling for days
that used to be and friends who
worshipped there now jone!
Since the Methodists and the
Baptists are planning building to
their plants, we trust the sacred
house will continue to bless peo-
ple of the community as it did
so well in the past.
Next week we should have a
good School beginning letter.!
Vntil then, “Thanks for reading,”
and goodbye, Folks. •
