titled "The Red Carnation.’’
The last division of the pro-
gram was given by the Acapella
choir, led by Clyde Garrett. The
choir sang several songs includ-
ing a Russian folksong, a Czecho-
- Slovakian - dance and i
spiritual.
The final of the program was
the choir singing "There’s Some-
thing About a Soldier." During
this number, the college mascot
sang and danced.
The program was enjoyed by
all and eyeryone agreed that Mr.
Garrett and the others would be
welcomed to our scho’ol again.
Bobby Jo Cozart, a Sophomore,
has a hobby of saying snapshots
of her friends. She started this
very interesting hobby sometime
ago.
She has somewhere around 100
pictures of.many different friends.
If you have a picture you do not

Senior Election
Tuesday afternoon, March 4. the
Seniors met to elect the Senior
boy and girl whom they consid-
ered the most representative
member.
Loyd Price, the Senior claSk
president, presided during the
meeting. Several boys and sev-
eral -girls were nominated but
Melvin Simpson and 1 Christian
Sisk were the ones chosen.
Melvin and Christine will be
given a page in the Bowie High
School Annual.
