no political promises to anyone for their support, and no member

Practically all successful firms in America today follow the
seniority and promotional line with their employees.
The office of County Commissioner is a position of man-
agement and supervision.
One example is that of bank presidents. All start either as
bookkeepers or cashiers, learning all phases of banking before
being promoted to president.
The article stated- the various positions Bill Decker held
in the Sheriff’s department before being elected Sheriff. It fur-
ther praised Mr. Decker as one of the outstanding law officers
of Texas.
Luther Evans started with Montague County 14 years ago.
During this 14 years he has become familiar with every phase
of county government. Luther Evans has the ability and the
qualifications to manage and supervise Montague County busi- '
ness efficiently, fairly and honestly.
