ercises held at Midwestern Un-
iversity, August 24 He is mar-
ried to the former Janelie Hof-
fman. Paul graduated from

Dance Classes
Start Today
The Garlington Dance
Speech Studio will start classes
I this year, Thursday with a wide
variety of courses open to stu-
dents of all ages, Mrs. Lynn Gar-
lington, owner-instructor, has
announced.
Dance instruction will include
classes in classical ballet, modern
ballet, jazz, modern, acrobatic
and ta« dancing. Ballroom danc-
ing w”l Ac taught to pre-teens,
teen-agers and adults with spe-
cial emphasis on the social
graces for the younger students.
Mrs. Garlington said three
formal, dances, one informal
dance and formal dinners are in-
cluded in the ballroom courses.
She said modeling classes will
be offered for young women and
special courses in etiquette for
young men will be offered.
In addition to- classes for older
boys and girls, Mrs. Garlington
also has a Kinder.-Dance group
for pre-school age children in
which elementary ballet, tap,
and acrobatic dancing is taught
along with choral speaking, per*
sonality songs, rhythm and eti-
quette.
Mrs. Garlington is first vice-
president of the Texas Associat-
? , ed Tehchers of Dancing, and a
y 4* member of the Dance Masters of
4 America, Dance Educators and
the Gecchittc Council of Amer-
ica. She has studied under such
masters as Ivan Tarusoff, Adolph

Taken by Death
Funeral rites were held Aug-
ust *22 for H. O. Atteberfy, who
died on August 19 after an ill-
ness of four days. He had been a
resident of the county for 67
years. He dieihin Major Hospital
in NocOna.
Rev. Lewis Hill, Dan Wilburn
and C W Ice officiated and in-
terment was held in' Forestburg
cemetery. Mr. Atteberry was a
member of South Side Baptist
Church of Bowie.
He was born March 8. 1881 in
Illinois, t)w son of J. C. and
Susan Tucker Atteberry. He

Atteberry was "a retired farm-
er at the time of his death.
Survivors include his widow,
Mrs. Atteberry, BoWh4; Mrs. Alta

L. of Hobart. Okla.; Roy of
Forestburg; Bill of West Covina,
Calif.; and J. L. Atteberry of
•Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. R.
B. Hodge of Saint Jo, 11 grand-
children and three great-grand-
children.
Pall bearers were Bob Wak-
man, Ollie Griffin, Bailey Jack-
son, Buddy Gibson, Sam Cleve-
land and Sam Hodges.
