Additional historical context: Founded in 1921 the bank advertised itself as "The Cow Pasture Bank" where customers could drive in, ride in, or fly in.

In the image outside the bank: Lowell Smith, Sr. (Board Chairman) is on the far left end; Lowell "Stretch" Smith, Jr. (Bank President) is fourth from the left.

In the cookout photo: S. W. "Dub" Osborne is on horseback at far right; Lowell Smith, Sr. is at far left; Lowell Smith, Jr. is seated third from the right.
