Francis A. Buddin
Chairman Executive Committee
United Texas Drys

We appreciate genuinely the interview you gave us,
the fine service you have rendered in this cause, and ear-
nestly solicit your continued cooperation and help. It
may be that we shall yet need to call on you to lead us
in this all-important work.
Assuring you of our high esteem, and with every
good wish,
The members of our committee were greatly pleased
with our interview with you at Albany,
the return trip our favorable impression of you person-
ally, and of your comprehensive grasp of the task before
us, and it was the enthusiastically expressed conviction
of each of us that we would be fortunate to secure your
leadership in this great cause. The committee had several
names suggested for consideration, and it was with diffi-
culty that a decision was finally reached.
The name of Dr. W. H. McKenzie, pastor of the First
Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, was submitted, however,
and he was elected. He has not yet announced his accept-
ance.
