The Texas Commission on
Environmental Quality
(TCEQ) has notified the
Clayton WSC Plant 1, Plant 2
and Plant 3 that we have vio-
lated the monitoring and
reporting requirements set
forth In Chapter 30, Section
290, Subchapter F. We are
required to properly disin-
fect water before distribut-
ing, maintain acceptable dis-
infection residuals within the
distribution system, monitor
the disinfectant residual at
various locations through-
out the distribution system,
and report the results of the
monitoring to the TCEQ on a
quarterly basis. Results of
regular monitoring are an
indicator of whether or not
you drinking water is safe
from microbial contamina-
tion. During the fourth quar-
ter of 2008 beginning
October 1, 2008 and ending
December 31, 2008, we did
not complete all monitoring
and/ or reporting for
Disinfectant Reeldual
Monitoring and Reporting,
and therefore cannot be sure
of the safety of your drinking
water during that time.
NOTICE OF DRINKING
WATER MONITORING AND
REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Further, the institution
should state the amount of
interest to be paid on the fol-
lowing accounts.

compliance with Chapters
116 and 117, Depositories for
County Public Funds and
Certain Trust Funds and
County Registry Funds,
Vernon’s Texas Codes
Annotated, Local
Government Code, from
which the above require-
ments are taken.
