A Bad Move Contemplated.
The News understands that
there is a disposition on the part
of the commissioners court to
dispense with the services of
Mr. E. B. Brackett, who for the
past three years has rendered
such valuable and efficient serv-
ice to the farmers of the coun-
ty, and whose work is just now
beginning to be appreciated as
it should, the results of which
should be far greater during
the coming year than any pre-
vious year. Mr. Brackett is an
energetic and tireless worker, a
good organizer and a safe and
conservative adviser, and The
News believes it would be a
great mistake to dispense with
his services just at this par-
ticular time unless he is to be
replaced with a better man, and
right here the writer wants to

Another thing not to be over-

yourself. Other members of
the family may think they
know what you need, but you
know better than they. Just go
ahead and do it, and wait for
the January bills to come in.
