FAMILY PICNIC
The Family Picnic on June 1
at 10:30 A.M. at Bear Creek
Park will be a fun-filled
morning. Bring your own food
and the Men’s Club will pro-
vide the soda and games.
There will be activities for
all ages. In case of rain,
the picnic will be postponed
until June 8. ’(In case of
SNOW, bring your SLEDS! )
• The Men’s Club having now been officially formed will, I hope,
be a great instrument in filling some of the voids within the Con-
gregation in the past. This past year has been a major stride for
Beth Am, the acquisition of our own facility and the formation of
the Men’s Club.
In the future the Men’s Club will strive to aid the Congregation
in whatever way it can and enable the men of the Congregation to
socialize with their peers and bring together a comradery that will
bring our Family closer together.
Your officers and Board of Trustees of the Men’s Club have
given a strong commitment to serve you during the year and we are
working on a program that we feel will be pleasing to all.
Cur first major event will be held on Sunday, June 1st. This
will be an "Old Fashion FUN Picnic." There will be planned activities
for all. Everyone, I am sure, will leave with only the thought:
"Let's do it again soon."
Although we have individuals who have taken on the responsibility
of various committees, we still need additional men who can help out
on a limited basis. I understand that many of us are very busy in
our daily routines, but if each of us will voice an interest in what
they would like to see happen with their Men's Club and offer to help
occasionally, it will bring our Family closer together and make our
Family a unified one. Remember, the saying goes: "You-get what you
pay for." If no interest is shown or no participation given, nothing
is gained.
If you wish to help or have any suggestions, please do not
hesitate to call me.
