This past Tuesday, a high stakes pool tour-
nament was held in the Student
Development Center. No, it wasn't illegal,
but the rewards for making the top three are
well worth the time and effort. The top three
contenders got an all-expenses paid trip to
represent Tarleton State University at San
Antonio for the Region 12 tournament.
Students earn a trip on the University for
only three dollars and don't forget little tal-
ent. The results of the competition are below:

Tarleton State guard Misty
Wilson has been named the
Lone Star Conference South
Division women's basketball
Player of the Week for her
efforts in a pair of games last
week. The league office
announced Monday.
Wilson, a 5-9 junior from
Burleson, averaged 26 points,
5.5 rebounds, 4,5 assists, 3.5
steals and 1.5 blocks in leading
the TexAnns to a 1-1 record for
the week.
In Thursday's 62-48 win over
Texas A&M-Commerce, Wilson
made 7 of 15 field goals and 5 of
5 free throws to account for 19
points. She added five
rebounds, four assists and four
steals in that contest.
Wilson matched her career
high with 33 points in
Saturday's heartbreaking 77-75
