NATHAN ADAMS,
Member Federal Home Loan
Bank Board.
(A Letter.)
Dallas, Texas, Sept. 7, 1932.
Senator George Purl,
State Senate, Austin, Texas.
Dear Senator:
Great embarrassment has been
caused the public schools by an an-
nouncement from the Department
of Education that only sixty per
cent of high school tuition for the
instruction of tranferred pupils last
year will be allowed. The instruc-
tion has already been given and we
have counted on the actual cost,
which is ten dollars per month.
While I hesitate .at a called ses-
sion to urge you to bring up any sub-
ject other than what the Governor
requests the Legislature to act upon,
I should like very much for you to
request the Governor to get some
action on this troublesome question.
I respectfully urge you to do what
you can do to aid the schools.
With kind regards and best
wishes,
Sincerely yours,
N. R. CROZIER,
Superintendent of Schools.
