held their Pi'ona and, Reception in
theliigh School Gymnaisum Wed-
, 4 nesday, May 17. Music was fur-
nished by the Ellington Field Or-

The gym was decorated in red
and white, the colors chose*

weekly meeting of the Wesleyan
Service Guild of the First Metho-
dist Church on Wednesday even-
ing in the church basement with
Mrs. Lovelace Schrleber as hos-
tess. ■ V
Mr?. R. Lee Davis presided over
the short business session. Mrs.
Forrest McDonald led the devo-
tional and program which was
presented in the form of a skit on
the life of a Christian family in
Jndia.' Taking part in the pre
scntation were Mrs. Eugene Cot-
tie, Mrs. R. E. Prince, Mrs. Myr-
tie Lee Scott and Mrs. Forrest
McDonald; Mrs. Myrtle Mattox
and Mrs. R. Lee Davis presented
the lesson from the book, "For All
of Life."
Another meeting of the guild
will be held ot) Wednesday even-
ing. May 24, at a place to be an-
nounced later.
