Why? Because they are
better insurance risks. Non-
smokers live longer, healthi-
er lives. They tend to be
better drivers. And there is
less chance that their
houses will go up in smoke.
So, if you haven’t smoked
in the past two years, call
me today to see if you are
eligible for real savings on
your auto, home and life
policies and get acquainted
with Farmers fast, fair,
friendly service.

Walker if he could recommend
someone who could help fix his
car which he was having trouble
with, according to Walker’s
mother.
Mrs. Walker added that the
robber held the gun to her son’s
head and told him to hand over
the money. He then said, “I’m
going to kill you.”
The attendant was wounded
in the left jaw and both
temples. He also suffered a
wound to the left hand, ap-
parently when he tried to use it
to protect his head.
Walker was taken to Mes-
quite Memorial Hospital,
however his condition was not
known at press time.

Forney police say there are
striking similarities between
the armed robbery at a Plano
convenience store which
resulted in the deaths of two
persons and another armed rob-
bery which occurred in Forney
recently.
Billy P. Walker, 20, an atten-
dant at the Texaco Quick-Fill at
Interstate 20 and FM 740 in
Forney was seriously wounded
by a man posing as a stranded
motorist. The man took about
$230 at gunpoint and shot
Walker three times in the head,
neck and hand.
Forney Police Chief Bobby
Biggerstaff said there were
striking similarities in the
methods used in the Walker
