COLLEGELHOMECOMING
We certainly enjoyed hearing from our
young people at the College Homecoming.
We hope to make this a yearly affair at
the Synagogue. The poise and skill of
fielding questions of those College
students who attended was very impress-
ive. We appreciated their coming and
we hope to hear more from them in the
years to come.

CHILDREN IS -SER.VICE VERY GR.ATIFYING
The adults, especially the parents,
seemed to "Shep nachas" in seeing the
students participate in the Children’s
Service held Friday, December 17th.
Every student from nursery through the
eighth grade that attended, actively
participated in the Service. The pur-
pose of a Children’s Service is that
children become aware of the beauty
and spiritual uplift of our heritage.
Children feel more secure in feeling
that they, too, count and are a part
of the Jewish people.
Honor certificates were given to
students for completion of work and
good attendance.
Another Children’s Service is being
planned in the near future.
We all wish a hearty Yasher Koach to
all the Children who participated in
the Service. They all did their parts
well and it was a pleasure seeing
them up on the bimah.
