The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least
one dreaded disease that science has
been able to cure in all its stages and
that is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Curo is
the only positive cure now known to the
1 medical fraternity. Catarrh being a
! constitutional disease requires a consti-
tutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh Cure
is taken internally acting directly upon
the blood and mucous surfaces of tho
system thereby destroying tho founda-
tion of the disease and giving the pa-
tient strength by building up the con-
stitution and assisting nature in doing
its work. The proprietors have so much
faith in its curatho powers that they
offer one Hundred Dollars for any case
that it fails to cure. Send for list of tes-
timonials. Address F. J. CHENEY & Co .

Martyrs.
Science has its martyrs and a re-
cent one was Dr. Fillipow a Rus-
sian who edited a scientific review.
The day before his death he had
sent to the editor of an important
Moscow paper a letter staling that
fr years he had been engaged in
trying to discover some substance
or power that should make Avar
totally imDossible and had sue-
ceeded in finding a substance byt
which it would be possible to con-
trol the working of an explosion at
a distance of many thousands of
miles. The editor on receiving this
letter went with an eye for news
to the laboratory of the scientist
but to his horror found him lying
dead on the floor. Mexican Herald.
