Overall health is so important to the family and this incudes
everyone in the family. Proper eating is a large contributor to
maintaining health and preventing potential compromising con-
ditions. Cholesterol in excess can be an underlying factor that
leads to several debilitating effects. Malnutrition can lead to the
lowering of the bodies natural defenses against disease like flu
and colds and sinus complications. This malnutrition does not
mean a lack of enough food, but of the proper kinds of food.
Eating habits are related to taste because so many people
choose what to eat based on taste. This is what makes it so im-
protant to introduce variety in the diet to our children so that as
they grow and mature, they develop a palate for different foods.
Introducing these foods to children begins with a parent that is
enthuastic about the food. What a challenge!
Make your job easier by sharing these foods both at regular
meals and special feasts like Thanksgiving. Begin with the pro-
per tools and that means a healthy mouth. As dental problems
progress, the work necessary to regain health is more com-
promising. Seek out the best solution for your dental needs to at
least restore health and maintain that level with regular visits
to the hygienist and dentist.
