BLOOD DRIVE; Giving Blood, the gift of life, is very important. One
never knows when he or his family will need it. This very important
project, Pikuach Nephesh, the saving of a human life, is the greatest
Mizvah. The Rabbis teach that whoever saves one life is as if he

MOTHER S DAY BRUNCH: Our Mother’s Day Brunch was a huge success. We
thank the Sisterhood for their dedicated cooperation and we are
looking forward to having them join us in planning together many
more joyous affairs.
Charski for donating the delicious cakes that were served. Thank
you to all that helped and assisted in making the Brunch so success-
ful. Special thanks to the following people who donated the beautiful
from taking them for three to four days prior to Sunday so that you,
too, may donate blood and at the same time insure you and your
family for a whole year from the high costs of blood transfusions
if needed. OUR BLOOD DRIVE IS ON SUNDAY, JUNE 5th, AT 9:00 A.M.
Please call at your earliest convenience to schedule a time slot
between the hours of of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for that Sunday,
June 5th. This Mitzvah of preserving life cannot be repaid fully
during your life on earth. Dr. Arnold Wolf, our Blood Drive
Coordinator, is looking forward to hearing from you. Call the
Synagogue Office, 723 3850, or call Dr. Wolf’s office, 862 6663,
and ask for Nancy.
TESTIMONONIAL DINNER: Everyone is cordially invited to join our Men’s
Club in honoring Rabbi Joseph Radinsky and Cantor Irving Dean
at the Testimonial Dinner and Program on Sunday, June 12th at 6:00 p.m.
The program will feature Arthur Sergi who was formerly with the
Metropolitan Opera. It promises to be one of the most enjoyable
evenings. Please make reservations early! Seating is limited!.
Donation is $12.50 per person. For more information, please call
the Synagogue Office, 723 3850.
