  • Content Description: Photograph of the back and east side of the Church Hill School, a single-story front-gabled stone building with a porch along the entire left side, which has plain posts and a shed roof. The gable end includes decorative wooden eave returns and there is a window below, covered by a wooden shutter, as well as two windows on the side and a small metal chimney near the back of the building. It is enclosed by a metal chainlink fence and there are posts on either side of the gate holding up a sign that says “Church Hill School” with a Texas Historical Commission medallion on a post to the left. Trees and bushes are visible around the building and there is an empty flagpole at the right of the building.
