winning two contests, whipping
the Lions Club, 4 to 1, and drub-
bing Humble, 18 to 10.
The McAdoo Motor-Kermit
Pharmacy game will be resched-
uled because of an electrical fail-
ure Moday night. The game was
called after the first of the fifth
inning after the Druggists had
scored four runs in their half of
the inning.

In obedience to the order of the
Board of Equalization, regularly
convened and sitting, notice is
hereby given that said Board of
Equalization will be in session
at its regular meeting place in
the Courthouse in the town of
Kermit, Winkler County, Texas,
at 10 o’clock a.m. on Monday, the
29th day of July, A.D. 1946, for
the purpose of determining, fix-
ing and equalizing the value of
any and all taxable property sit-
uated in Winkler County, Texas,
for taxable purposes for the year
1946, and any and all persons in-
terested or having business with
said board are hereby notified to
be present.
