Brooks Drug Store, Denton's oldest drug
store, operating continuously under the same
management, was organized and opened in
1922 by W. F. Brooks and W. C. Collier. Theo
Brooks, a brother, purchased Mr. Collier's
interest in 1925. So it is now in its 25th year
of operation.
We want to take this opportunity to express
our appreciation to our many friends for the
splendid business given us during the past 24
years. Many of our original customers in Den-
ton and Denton county are still trading with
us. Your loyalty and friendship is deeply ap-
preciated. We hope that we can merit your
continued business and patronage.

Last year we were approached in regard to closing our store on Sunday
After careful consideration, we decided to remain closed all day Sun-
day; and have done so since last May. Due to so much sickness for the
past three months, it has been necessary for us to be at the store
most all day on Sunday to take care of Prescriptions. In order to
have our Prescription business properly handled, we have de-
cided to have a Pharmacist remain on duty on Sundays
from 9 a. m until 12 noon and from 3 p. m. until 6 p. m.
to handle Prescription and emergencies only. We will
not be open, but a pharmacist will be on duty to
take care of you r prescriptions.
Prescriptions Are the Cornerstone of Our Business
