Now that Thanksgiving has come
and gone the mad rush for Christ-
mas leaves has begun. A worried
look was detected on Lt. Norman
E. Jacob’s face today in deciding
who should get Christmas leaves
and who should get New Year’s.
In accordance with Army policies
as many men as possible will be
given Christmas and New Year’s
leaves.
A few well chosen, judiciously
placed Shrubs and Bulbs will work
wonders with your grounds ... at
very small cost. Let us help you

SP4 Gerald D. Watson recently
made a mistake in his scheduling
for the basketball team. We play-
ed the Midlothian Independents
last week and were totally out-
classed. They beat us 71-37 and
could .have made it worse. How-
ever, we play "B” Battery the
27th and should be back in the
league. At least we will give them
some competition. SP4 Gaile and
Pfc Campbell looked real good in
the Midlothian game and many
comments were .heard on the fight
they showed. Besides looking good
on defense SP4 Gaile scored 19
points and Pfc Campbell scored
12. That beating could be just
what we needed. We will find out
a lot in Terrell.
