The kingdom of Heaven is by definition, the "rule"
of God. Ever wonder why Jesus in His sermon on
the mount coupled the kingdom of Heaven and the
will of God together? ("Thy kingdom come, Thy will
be done...") They say basically the same thing.
More than once Jesus said "I seek not MY Own
will but the will of the One who sent Me". The Lord’s

To some today Jesus would say "why call , Me
Lord, Lord, and do not the things I say" (L‘ 0:46).
To others He says "unless you are born again t water
and the spirit you will not enter the kingdom of .1 eaven"
(John 3:3). To others He would have His disciples
ask: "Into what then were you baptized?" (Acts 19:3),
and they would do as His disciples did and take some
aside and explain "the way of God more accurately."
(Acts 18:26) To those and others say "Can anyone
forbid water, that these should not be baptized...?"
(Acts 10:47).
It seems that for many people today who would
claim to be God’s child, will find the gates of the
kingdom closed simply because of one common point
of disobedience - the command of Christ to be baptized:
"he who believes and is baptized shall be saved..."
(Mark 16:16.
