Turkey Day celebrated at Yoakum Schools
Yoakum schools celebrated their annual Turkey Day at the local campuses on Thursday, Nov. 19. The
parents and grandparents of the students came to the schools and enjoyed a delicious dinner of turkey
and dressing with all the trimmings with their children. This year a total of 1,517 pounds of turkey was
prepared for the event. The parents in the picture are eating at Intermediate Campus.
