Thanks to Ruth Taylor for calling and her kind words about this column.
I really appreciate you for being so nice. It is people like you that give me
fuel to keep on writing this column.
Buck and Mary Helen Ferguson were in grandparent heaven this past
week with their grandsons and their daughters visiting. Delaine Rott and 10
months old son Jake were visiting, from Germantown, Tenn. Kellie Holder
and her 9 year old son Dakota from Round Rock, Tx., also visited. Mary
Helen says she and Buck are so proud of their grandsons, just wished they
lived closer.

If you spend more than $15.00 a

You need to call
The last few months, as many know, I have been helping with the
Cleburne Times Review committee to publish a millenmiun issue newspa-
per at the end of this year. I have asked all of you several times for input
about the history of Grandview and asked for pictures of any kind that could
be used to copy, to be put in this paper. If anyone has any stories or pictures,
I have very few, especially ones of the town, or ones of the citizens of the
town now or past, about Grandview, they would like to see published in this
issue, I am begging you to please call me and let me know about them.
The town of Grandview has lots of history and I have tried to gather as
much as I can over the last few years, so what I have gathered and what I
have read is all that will be published. I feel that there is a lot more that needs
to be known. So please, people of Grandview far and wide do not get upset
with me for not finding out all that I could, I needed your help to do this and
got very little response. I got more help outside the town than I did from the
now citizens of Grandview.
The newspaper will be published in a few months and what I have gave
them is all that they have to go on. I hope that you will not be disappointed
