ty Commissioners Court for offi-
cial approval shows that 934 votes
were cast in the county. Of these,
868, were for the amendment, 63
were against and three had to be
thrown out for various reasons.

ton, on the idea of getting a free chest X-ray. Mem-
bers of the Denton Key Club were among the groups
that volunteered their services to make house to house
calls to remind Denton residents of the importance
of the free X-ray service offered in Denton this week.
Collom is the son of Mrs Flossie Collom, 415 Indus-
trial. Saturday is the final day for the free chest
X-rays to be offered in Denton. The unit will move

Dr. Farmer, in a statement to
the council, stressed the impor-
tance that all charitable organi-
zations planning to give food or
clothing to needy families during
the Christmas season consult the
welfare office for names of needy
persons if the organizations fail
to do this, Dr. Farmer said, there
