ica, was held Tuesday evening, at
the senior high school cafeteria.
More than 125 persons attended
the affair, including 59 members
of the organization, their fathers

cream to creamery: 12.000 lbs.
pork; 5,000 lbs. beef; 520 Iba. lamb;
210 lbs. of wool; 475 lbs. poultry
and improved their land for an-
other crop by spreading 228 loads
of barnyard manure. So with tools,
equipment, live stock and well pre-
pared land, they are ready to help
increase food, feed and fiber needed
to win the war.

them to other farmers of the coun-

rett, who named various projects
undertaken by members, and stated
that each boy must undertake at
least three of these projects.
Aid Natonal Defense
Louis Hemphill told how the or-
ganization was aiding the national
defense cause, revealing that the
club had purchased a number of
defense stamps and bonds, had
taken part in the conservation of
food and livestock, and had con-
served paper, the proceeds for the
sale of which were given to the Red
Cross.
Dr. J. R Reuther, local optom-
etrist, entertained the group with
his repertoire of magic tricks.
