single baseball contest today at 7:30 p m. in Sports-
man Park.
Brownwood nine will be getting in some practice
licks in preparation for the state tournament to be
held at Sportsman Park Aug. 5-8.
Buff managers Ron Hardin and Ken Schultze
will choose their starting pitcher from Charlie El-
lis. Billy Branum or. David Henley.
Jimmie Piper will handle the catching duties,
with Larry Pemberton opening at first base. Roy
Spence at second, Damon Smith at third and Roger
Richey at shortstop.
Branum will open in centerfield if he doesn't
get the mound call. He will be flanked by James
Williamson in left and Eugene Marshall in right.
