he lived to be about 100 years
old. I knew him in about 1910,
1911 and 1912.
If you can stir up any interest
in the old diggings you may have
quite an attraction, and it is a
phenomenon.
Funeral services for Frank
Booker of Goldthwaite were
conducted Monday, November 25.
1974, at 2 p.m. in the Wilkins
Fueral Chapel, with Rev. Dan
Connally officiating. Interment
was in the Center City Ceme-
tery. Arrangements were under
the direction of Wilkins Funeral
Home.
Mr. Booker, a lifetime resi-
dent of this community, passed
away Saturday. November 23,
1974, at 10:25 a.m. in the Child-
ress Hospital. Born October 23,
1902, in Mills County, he was
the son of Willis Eddy Booker
and Allie Hudson Booker.
N Survivors include his sisters,
Mrs. Maggie Leverett, Haynes-
ville, La.; Mrs. Lois Cline, Gold-
thwaite; Mrs. Louise Burlingame
of New Hartford, N. Y.; and three
brothers, Charlie Booker, Fort
Worth; T. J. Booker, Austin;
and Raymond D. Booker, Keokuk,
Iowa.
Pallbearers were Harvey
Parker, Charlie Duke, Morgan
McNIel. R. T. Booker and Ronnie
and Coy Cline. .
