cotton will be put into operation, in
time for this season's crop was t©M to

thereto.
Section 120. The state convention
shall canvass the vote cast in the en-
tire state for each candidate for each
state office, as shown by the statement
thereof presented to it by the state
committee, and shall declare the can-
didate for each stats office who has
received the largest number of votes
in the primary election for such state
office the nominee of the party for
such office, and the chairman and sec-
retary of the state convention shall
forthwith certify all such nominations
to the secretary of state. Each county
in the state or district convention shall
be entitled to one vote for each 800
votes or major fraction thereof cast
for the candidate for governor of the
polftical party holding the convention
at the last preceding election. In ease
at such primary election there were
cast for such candidate for governor
less then 500 votes in any county, then
all such counties shall have one vote:
provided, any political party in this
state in convention assembled shall
never place in the platform or resolu-
tions of the party they represent any
demand for specific legislatlon on any,
subject unless the demand for suoh spe-
cifie legislation shak have been sub-
mitted to a direct vote of the people,
and shall have been indorsed by a ma-
jority vote of all the votes cast in the
