He is a Texan by adoption, though a
native of Mississippi, and has a son.
Fred Wilson, who is a prominent busi-
ness man, living at Lancaster in ad-
dition he has several married daugh-
ters residing in eastern Texas and an-
other who lives in Oklahoma. Mr
Wilson went through four years of the
war between the states in a Texas re-
giment, coming out at the end of the
hostilities with the commission of cap-
tain. He went as a young man from
Quitman, Texas, with the Sixth Texas
infantry.
