UNDER AND BY VIRrUE oF THE
provisions of chapter 144 of th* gen-
eral laws of th* Twenty-ninth legisla-
tur* of Texan, as amended by act of
the Thirtieth legislature of Texas, ap-
proved April 13, 1907, no bids for keep-
In* tiro public funds of the state in the
Seventh, Tenth, Eleventh. Nineteenth and
Twesty-first senatorial districts hav-
ing been accepted. I, Sam Sparks, state
treasurer of the state of Texas, hereby
ship it from any and all banks and
banking institutiona duly incorporated
and authorised by law to do business
in ths state of Toxas, and having a
paid up capital stock of not leas than
$25,000, bid* to keep state deposit ories
and five thirty-firsts of the state funds
until March 11. 1911, and until the un-
dertaking of such depositor'* successor
shall have been accepted by the proper
authority, under the provisions and ac-
cording to terms and conditions set
forth in said statutes, all of which such
bids to be made as therein prescribed
and as hereinafter stated, vis
I. No bids shall be for keeping mnore
than two thirty-firsts of the state
funds, and should the state treasurr,
comptroller and attorney general deem
to the best interest of the state, they
will limit "ny or all awards to only
one thirty-first of the state funds in
no instance will there be awarded to
any one bidder any amount in excess of
its paid up capital stock
2. All bid* must be delivered to the
state treasurer on or before 12 o'clock.

state treasurer, sealed up in an envel-
ope, marked "Fids for the safe keeping
and payment of ths deposits of the stat*
funds”
4. Each bid shall state the interest
which such bidder will pay on th* av-
erage daily balances in such depository
to the credit of the stat* treasurer;
which interest shall not be less than 2
per cent per annum on such daily bal-
ances in such depository.
5. Each bid shall be accompanied by
a certified check for the sum of $500
payable to the order of th* state treas-
unar, which shall become forfeited to
the state in case such bid shall be ac-
cepted and the bidder shall fall to com
ply with the requirements of said stat-
ute for the qualification of deposito.
