* For three Tuesdays (July 9, 16, 23) the Johnson
County Extension Service will hold a 4-H mini camp in our
cafetorium. You do not have to be a 4-Her to join the fun.
See the attached flyer for more details. Greg and I are both
former 4-H members and loved the experience. If you are
looking for something fun for the kids to do in the middle of
the summer, this might be just the ticket
* On Saturday, July 13 from 9 to 3, Literary Lions
book store in Stephenville will hold a book sale at Kauffman
Leadership Academy. Mrs. Sarah Bridges is the owner and
operator of the book store and a teacher at our campus. She
promises thousands of books to choose from and all price
ranges starting under a dollar. Come join us in the cafeto-
rium and you may just find a summer reading treasure.
* Mark your calendar for a last fall registration on
Thursday, August 1 from 5 pm to 7 pm. This will provide
another opportunity for families to see what is offered at
KLA and talk with the teachers about their curriculum. If
you have already signed up, you can stop by and pick up
the papers you need to complete to finish the registration
process before we start classes. Our first day of class will
be Tuesday, August 20th. If you cannot make it by during
this time, just give us a call at 682-459-2800 to set up an ap-
pointment with Greg or Theresa Kauffman.
