This New Way
T It is often sui pi islng how the most
persistent, hacking cough that not only
robs you of strength ami sleep, but often
leads to more serious trouble, yields
quickly to a simple but wonderfully
effective treatment.
This treatment is based on the pre-
scription known as Dr. King’s New Dis-
covery for Coughs. You-take just one
teaspoonfutat bed time and hold it in
your throat for 15 or 20 seconds before
swallowing Tt. The prescription has a
double action. It not only soothes and
heals f soreness and irritation, but it
quickly removes the phlegm and con-
gestion which are the real muse of night
coughing. So with the cause removed,
coughing stops quickly; your sleep un-
disturbed, and the entire cough con-
dition soon disappears.
Dr. King’s New Discovery is fur.’
coughs, chest colds, sore throat, hoarse-
ness,'bronchitis, spasmodic croup, etc.
- Fine for children as well as grown-
ups—no harmful drugs. Economical,
too, as the dose is only one teaspoon*
ful. At all good druggists. Ask foe-

still useful for starting small quanti-
ties of seeds.
It is well to bind them with copper
wire near the top and bottom before
planting to prevent the sides warping
away and making it difficult to water
them. Punch holes in the bottom of
whatever fofm of seed box is used
Cover the holes with broken flower
pots, china, or stone chips to prevent
the earth leaking through but admit
ting drainage. Then fill with sifted
soil. Level it off with a brick of a
block of wood and it is ready for the
seed planting.
If there is a hotbed or cold frame
available the seed boxes are best set
into them. If no soil was put away
last fall, chop up some frozen clods,
thaw them out and dry them out in
the oven. The baking will serve the
double purpose of killing any insects
and weed seeds that may be in the
eart h.
Plant the seed in rows and do not
put in too thickly. The thick plant-
ing makes the plants spindly ad in
theulong run is more of a loss than a
gain, as none of the plants
lop well without wholesale thinning.
Cover the seed box with a pane of
glass or a cloth mLto fit after it has
been moistened by gentle sprinkling
