"Winds of Chance," which Frank
Lloyd has produced from Rex Beach's
novel of the Alaskan gold rush, intro-
duces an English cinema celebrity to
American fans. He is Victor MeLag-

ular on the British screen. Local
fans will see him when the picture is
presented by First National at the
Grand Theatre January 18 and 19.

late harvesting of the crop. There
were 4300 sacks of rough and 5107
pockets of clean received here for
mills and for exporters. The larger
receipts failed to depress spot prices ।

These new prices apply to a product that is far

ever produced. They are made possible by a
$10,000,000 expansion program, which practi-

the cost of manufacture.
