Roundabout and family have
a very special occassior this
week. We have owned The
Cherokeean for 22 years. We
purchased the paper from Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Main June

We are grateful and humble
to the wonderful people of
Cherokee County for their sup-
port they have given us
through the years...
We have received many ho-

But, these honors actually be-
long to the people of Rusk
and Cherokee County. For,
a newspaper is merelya mir-

county it serves. We have
been fortunate to live and
work among the finest people
in the worUJ.
The Cherokeean has won 1st
place in newspaper competi
tion in community service,
news writing, editorial page,
general excellence and all
others....One of the awards
we are most proud of was
the state award given us for
the service we gave Mental
Health and Mental Retarda-
tion in behalf of Rusk State
Hospital.
Roundabout believes strong,
ly In the wonderful work being
done at Rusk State Hospital
and the dedicated staff in
behalf of the patients..,.
We are proud that the peo-
pie of our home town of Rusk
has honored Roundabout three
time , and elected him mayor.
We have tried our very best
to serve all our people....
