and forgotten!
This old forgotten ho.it is almost buried in the reeds. Can this boat in any
way be compared to our talents? What of these talents that God has given
us? I l.ive they been beached, forgotten, buried?
I leaven expects us to help in this matter of creating a better world
where brother helps brother bv using to the fullest extent the talents He
has bestowed upon us. (iod alw..ys provokes and prods mankind to do
good works, and accomplish great things. And I le savs that if we dedicate
ourselves to this matter 1 le will Ik-! p. But the decision to use our talents
and develop them is our choice.

The Church it God's appointed agcncy in this
world lor spreading the knowledge of His love
for man and of His demand ftr man to respond
to that love by loving h« Atifhbor Without
this grounding in the love of God, no govern-
ment or society or woy of life will long
persevere and the freedoms which we hold so
dear will inevitably perish. Therefore, even
from a selfish point of view, one should support
the Church for the soke of the welfare of him-
jr jVj self ond his family. Beyond that, however,
every person should uphold ond participate in
the Church because it tells tht truth about
mon s life, death and dettiny, the truth which
• % alone will set him free to live as a child of
God.
