BIRTHDAY PARTY-Pictured are residents of Town Hall
Estates Nursing Home who had birthdays in October. Those
celebrating at the birthday party held Oct. 26 were Marshall
Rawlinson, Patrick Synnott, Lela Baker, Mary Goolsbee and
Mary Crawford. Not pictured are Bell Darden and Berland
Rogers.
Funeral services for Miss
Dorothy Faye Deal, age 56, of
Rusk were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in First Baptist
Church. Rev. Grover Talbert,
Rev. Jimmy Boone and Rev.
Ben Pierce officiated for the
final rites. Interment was in
Mt. Zion Cemetery in the
Central High Community.
Miss Deal passed away at
6:30 a.m. Sunday in a Jackson-
ville hospital following a sud;
den illness.
A native of Waxahachie,
Miss Deal had lived in Rusk for
32 years. She was a member of
the First Baptist Church and
was employed as clerk at the
Rusk United Gas Company.

Rusk and Mrs. Ray Wyrick of

Pallbearers were L. J. Lein-
back, Oran Spence, Ben Shir-
ey, Bruce Bryant, Roger
Reagan and O. C. White.
Honorary pallbearers were
deacons of First Baptiat
Church and employees of
United Gas.
Arrangements were under
the direction of Wallace Fun-
eral Home of Rusk.
