and no/100 Dollars, payable to Pan American Life Insurance Company and secured by Deed of
Trust on the following described land, to-wit: The West 55 feet of Lot 7 and the East
5 feet of Lot 6 in Harper’s Re-Subdivision of Blocks 3 and 4 of the Ward Addition to the

of the Deed Records of Travis County, Texas; which
WITNESSETH that whereas R. B.Cousins, Jr. and wife, Jewel Cousins, did on the 1st day
of October 1929, make, execute and deliver 1 certain note for the sum of Four Thousand
City of Austin, Travis County, Texas, out of theThos. Gray Survey, according to the
map or plat of said Harper’s Re-Subdivision of Record in plat Book 3, page 82,.. of the
records of Travis County, Texas, together with all improvements thereon situated; and
being the same premises conveyed to R.B.Cousins, Jr. by Deed of date Sept.22,192, re-
THIS MEMORANDUM OF AGR EEENT, made by and between R. B.Cousins, Jr., and wife Jewel
Cousins, parties of the first part, and Pan-American Life Insurance Company, party of
the second part;
annum from October 1st 1934 to maturity, said interest payable semi-annually on April
and October as evidenced by note and interest notes of even date with this instrument,
and 87 per annum from maturity. And it is hereby ally agreed and understood by the
parties hereto that the lien above - ref erred to, given to secure the note above described,
shall remain in full force and effect, a good, valid and subsisting first lien on the
real estate therein described, for securing the payment of said principal sum and the
interest thereon. And it is further agreed that upon f d lure to pay any installment of
interest or principal as it shall become due,the failure atokeep any of the covenants
or agreements as given in the instrument to secure said note, the non er of the said note
shall have the option of maturing the entire indebtedness and foreclosing t he lien in the
manner and cost qiginally specified therein.
WITNESS our hands this 10th day of July 1934.

as set forth in the said deed of trust now held by the Pan-American Life Insurance company.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed between the parties hereto that the time of payment (
of the said principal sum of $2,400.00 is, at the request of the parties of the Fizet part,
hereby extended, and said parties of the first part, hereby agree to pay same as follows,
to-wit: $200.00 on October Is t, 1935, $200.00 on October 1st 1936, $200.00 on October 1st
1937, $200.00 on October st 1938 and 51,600.00 on October 1st 1939; and they also agree to
pay.interest upon said principal sum as aforesaid at the rate of six per cent. per ’
