Monday, April 11 and as members
gathered Ann Homer led the game,
“Mother Hen.” The program was
on Lesson 5, “How To Amend a
Motion,” in parliamentary proce-
dure. Lesson 3, “How To Keep a
Game File,” was also studied. The
meeting was called to order by
Melva Asberry, president. The 4-H
prayer was led by Theresa Bich-
sel. Barbara Koetting led the rit-
ual. Ellen Latta led “Tell Me
Why,” and Laura Jean Blackwell
led “Little Cabin in the Woods.”
Plans were made for the meet-
ings in May. Due to schools clos-
ing the cooking lessons will be on
Tuesday, April 26 and Monday,
May 9. The Community Club
meeting will be May 2.
County contests will be held Sat-
urday, April 23, in Panhandle. At
that time the Juniorettes will pre-
sent the stunt, “Song of the Dish-
towels,” and members will give
other demonstrations.
Laura Jean Blackwell served re-
freshments to Barbara Koetting,
Sandra Kotara, Janice Britten,
Tanja Weatherly, Patsy Koetting,
Ann Homer, Carolyn Brooks, Ther-
esa Bichsel, Melva Asberry, San-
dra Clark, Ellen Latta, and leader,
Mrs. George Latta.
Janice Britten will be hostess at
the next meeting to be held April
26 at the school.
