BY TORCHBEARER CLASS
The Friends of the Library or-
ganization announced - this week
that -bound issues of The Groom
News for the past 15 years were
received from the bindery and are,
now at the Groom Branch Library
for the use and enjoyment of all.
Mrs. Madge Hall, county librarian,
will direct the organization in a
project of indexing the newspaper
files for easy reference. This ac-
tivity will be undertaken in the
near future.
A bake sale conducted recently
by the Friends of the Library at
Homer’s Grocery netted $30.00.
This money will be used for mis-
cellaneous library expenses, ship-
ping charges on the newspaper
files, and etc. A heartfelt thanks is
extended to Mr. Carl Homer for
his cooperation with this organiza-
tion.

the project of binding the news-
