season at Vega Friday night of
this week, Sept. 11, when they
tackle the strong Vega Longhorns
in a non-conference game.
The Tigers have been shaping up
slowly this season and have been
hurt by injuries to team members.
However, their first game is ex-
pected to be a real battle and the
Tigers will have a real test. Last

Groom Legion members are re-
minded that 1971 dues are now due
and those that are paid after No-
