ROBERT J.
UNDERWOOD
Candidate for
County Commissioner
Precinct 1, Cherokee County
I will not be a one city or one town or one person
Commissioner. 1 will treat every person or plaee as equal
and fairly as possible.
There has been a rumor ¿ oing around that I might not be
able to handle big money. All 1 ask the peoplr to do is chcck
at the Courthouse on tin* financial status of l'recinet 1 and
see that any one could handle it better than it is being
handled now.
1 challenge Mr. W illiam Kenned) to a live debate on the
radio where he can ask me questions and I can question
him. This way the people will know how things stand before
the June 7 election.
1 owe no special fa\ors to anyone to dictate the wa> 1
represent the people. 1 will work to keep the tax burden as
light as possible for the people.
If elected to this position im doors will always be open so
that I might better ser\e the people.
