Hold Revival
Oak Grove Missionary
Baptist Church of 148 South
Buffalo Street, Canton, will
have revival services starting
April 26 and continuing
through May 2. Services will
begin each evening at 7:30
p.m.
The pastor, Rev. John
Boland, will be preaching in
each service and Jim Hendly,
church music director, will
lead the singing.
Everyone is invited to
attend the services and enjoy
the singing and hear the new
pastor as he leads this
revival.

meeting. Roll call was
answered with “something
special I remember about my
mother.”
Mrs. McCord presented the
devotional on “Opening Doors
for Service.”
Each member brought an
item from her home which
held a special meaning for her
because of age or family
association and told the group
about it.
Mrs. Betty Haddix gave the
council report and reported
that Mts. E. M. Shamburger
had gotten recognition and
honors for 52 years in the
Myrtle Springs Club at the
District meeting in March at
Marshall.
The hostess served
sandwiches, Easter cupcakes
and punch to the guests.
The next meeting will be
held May 13, at 1:30 p.m. with
Mrs. Ray Luscomb and Mrs.
Fannie Corry as hostesses.
