BUY HIGH...PAY LOW
When we say "buy high," we mean
look for the yellow label on your next
window air conditioner. You'll see an
EER rating (Energy Efficiency Ratio).
The higher the number, the gg
SESGO
lower your operating cost. We recom-
mend at least 8.0. On other major appli-
ances, look for an Energy Guide rating.

want to help you save money.

Christian radio established in Jacksonville
A new Christian radio station,
KBJS-90.3 FM is now on the air, ser-
ving more than 300,000 East Texans
in a 50-mile radius of Jacksonville,
John Phares, radio spokesman, said

The new Christian radio station
features traditional Christian music
without a rock beat, Southern gospel
music and Moody Broadcasting
Network programs for children,
youths and adults.
"We will not have any music with
a rock beat. We want music that will
bless people," Phares said
KBJS will rely on contributions
from listeners to meet an operating
budget of $8,000 per month, Phares
said.
"This is a dream come true for our
manager," Phares said, referring to
Bob Shivery, a licensed minister and
manager of the new radio station
