1888 when Yoakum was a young j

lowed is a very short time. Spi-1

the Opera House located .What
became of the Comedy Club?
and Where was the first pic ture
show house?
Mrs. Sistrunk was then show
ered with many useful gifts, all
tributes to the friend so greatly
loved.
Guests were invited to the
dining room where an arrange-
ment of day lilies formed the
centerpiece of the damask-co-
vered table. Chocolate sundae
and orange chiffon cake were,

The two hostesses presented
the mothers and grandmothers
with lovely corsages of white
carnations, and the honoree with
a black orchid corsage. For this
occasion Kay wore a blue after-
noon dress of cotton with lace I

Jimmie is also a graduate of
Yoakum High School, graduat-
ing with the class of 1955 and is
now employed in Thibodaux,
Louisiana.
The couple is planning a July
wedding.

week end here at the home of
his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
John Orsak.
Miss Rose Ann Turek of Hous-
ton spent the week end here
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
