Mayor Richard Turner hands out “Colony Clean-up Crew” but-
tons to participants in The Colony’s first city-wide clean-up day.
(A Documentary Images Photo)
Two benefit soccer games will be played Sun-
day, Nov. 25 on the Colony home fields.
The games will be played to raise money to
help Mr. and Mrs. Peter Vidas, whose home in
The Colony burned Nov. 17.
The first game will be at 1:30 p.m. between the
South End Soccer Club and the Colony Rednecks.
Second game will be at 3:30 p.m. with the
Colony Rebels meeting the Redneck Mothers.
Everyone is invited to join in the spirit of
these fun and friendly games. Their sole purpose
is to benefit some needy friends.
Come and give as much as you possibly can.
