class of 1954 of Sealy High
School will hold their reunion
at the Parlour in New Ulm on
Saturday. August 7 beginning
at 6:00 p.m. For more

she extended her thanks. She

Miss Tammy Meyer was
honored with a bridal luncheon
on Saturday, July 17, the day of
her wedding to D. Scott Diestel.
The luncheon was held at the
home of Mrs. Earl Luedecke
who was a hostess along with
her daughter, Mrs. Ronnie
Schneider.
The honoree, her mother,
Mrs. Kathleen Shelburne, the
groom’s mother Mrs. Gloria
Diestel. the bridal party, house
party and the hostesses were
seated at tables from which
they were served Cantonese
turkey with rice dressing,
broccoli Amandine. marinated
carrots, cherry cheese mold
filled with fruit salad,
cranberry parfait and hot rolls.
A Chablis white wine was
served with the luncheon. An
arrangement of pink carnations
with baby’s breath and
burgundy and pink ribbons
and accents graced the dining
table.

bride-to-be was a silver and

Rehearsal Supper
At McCollister's
Mrs. Gloria Diestel hosted
the rehearsal dinner at McCol-
lister's Restaurant, following
the Meyer-Diestel wedding
rehearsal on Friday night. July
16.
A steak dinner, preceded by
a wine course, was served to the
bridal couple. Miss Tammy
Meyer and Scott Diestel. their
parents, wedding attendants
and Rev. Aleck Lazek.
The centerpiece was a bridal
tree decorated with pink bows,
love birds, wedding rings and
bells surrounded by pink net
and ivy. Pink llowers and
