was held at 1 p.m. Feb. 20 at
Jarratt Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, formerly of
Jacksonville, was born Dec.
13, 1942, in Palestine, He died
Friday, Feb. 12 in Hurst.
Preceding him in death were
his mother, Mary Helen Smith
of Jacksonville and his father ,
Archie Charlie Smith of Jack-
sonville.

84, of Jacksonville, was at

Mrs. Wood died Thursday,
Feb. 18. She was born Aug. 20,
1925, in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Wood was a member of
the Church of God in Jackson-
ville and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death

Mr. Williams died Feb. 20.
He was born Nov. 27, 1919,
in Rusk to the late J.H, and
Barbra Brown Williams. Mr.
Williams was a lifelong Rusk
resident, a Baptist and aretired
welder. Mr. Williams served in
the United States Army during
World War II and received two

Mr. Booker died Satur-
day. lie was born May 21,
1939, in Nacogdoches to Coy
Samuel and Clara M. Wallace
Booker.
He was reared in Nacogdo-
ches and attended school in
Reklaw and graduated from
Rusk High School. He married
his wife Gloria (Sandy) Sand-
ers Booker in Aschafienburgh,
Germany while stationed
there in the Army. Mr. Booker
worked for Hood Pkg. Inc as a
shipping manager and retired
after 31 years. He was also a
past master of Masonic Lodge
#1233, and current Potentate of
Sharon Shrine Temple in Tyler,
lie was a member of Sharon
Clown Unit, Shiiron Spot11 stors.

Sojourners, Inc. and Hero's of
'76. He had been a member of
Green Acres Baptist Church
since March 3, 1980.

Zelda Quimby died Sunday, February 21, 2010* in Nacogdoches,
TX. Mrs. Quimby was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Hope, Arkansas to
John J. and Lillie Mae DeFoor. She was a homemaker and a member
of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a long
time Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher and
choir member. Zelda was a member of the Rusk/Alto Chapter 79
Eastern Star where she held the office of Chaplain for many years.
She was married to Leo Quimby and he preceded her in death, as did
her parents, and five brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Jody Quimby and daughter-in-law Mary
Ann of Bryan, TX, three daughters, Anna Nolley and son-in-law Al-
bert of Rusk, Annie Hudson and son-in-law Donnie of Celeste, TX,
Brenda Chandler of Nacogdoches, TX, nine grandchildren, eleven
great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Jane DeFoor and Gayle DeFoor
of Rusk, Joyce DeFoor of Kerrville, I X. brother-in-law, Jack Pat-
terson of Freeport, TX, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Grant Quimby, Brad Chandler, Cody Mitcham,
Troy Wooten Billy Hixl: Charlie Cornelius and Keith Clements.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert James Mach, Michael Chandler,
Albert Xolk-y and Donnie Hudson. The family would like to express
their gratitude to the Rock Haven and it's staff in Nacogdoches, TX
for the loving care shown to their mother for over two years.
